PAFO recently organized a virtual discussion meeting to review the implementation of the “Digitally Enabled Resilience and Nutrition Policy Innovations” (DERPIn) project. The virtual meeting provided a platform for stakeholders to discuss the project’s progress and challenges, ensuring that the project remains on track to achieve its goals of enhancing agricultural decision-making and advocacy efforts by farmers’ organizations.
The project aims to enhance agricultural decision-making and advocacy efforts by farmers’ organizations through data-driven insights and digital solutions.
The project focuses on two main objectives:
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Facilitate the production and use of relevant data, analysis, and digital solutions by farmers to inform agricultural and investment decisions, as well as advocacy efforts by farmers’ organizations.
- Co-Creation of Knowledge Products: Leverage opportunities to co-create knowledge products that directly address farmers’ needs and accelerate the transformation of agri-food systems in Africa.
