Promote and consolidate solidarity among African farmers through existing regional organizations
Represent and defend the interest of farmers at continental and international levels to achieve the economic and social empowerment of farmers
Transform the agricultural sector in Africa into a factor of sustainable food security and sovereignty
Contribute to regional and continental integration through facilitating trade at interregional and continental levels, and advocate for the development of infrastructure in Africa towards improving the flow of factors of production and agricultural products
Collaborate with the African Union and other institutions to ensure the implementation of commitments made by their member countries on technical and financial support to the agriculture sector
Cooperate towards the development, harmonization, and implementation of agricultural policy at the continental level, and contribute to the growth of the sector trade
Participate in the capacity building of farmers’ organizations in Africa, through raising funds, institutional development, information and communication exchange, and dissemination of good and best agricultural practices
Participate in the implementation and monitoring of the agricultural development in Africa
Strengthen partnerships and strategic alliances with all relevant partners (research institutions, international organizations, academia, public and private institutions, etc to support the agricultural sector and rural development
Promote and strengthen the participation of women, youth, and minority groups in agriculture
Facilitate access to finance, trade, markets, and modern technologies across the African continent
